One day in March my good friend Barbara called me and told me she read Heaven and the Heather mentioned in an article in The Scotsman newspaper. That started the small avalanche of friends and fellow writers who had also spied my first novel mentioned in several other British newspapers. The general thesis of the articles was the surprise and amusement British romance readers have toward the American romance readers' interest in romances featuring Scottish men in kilts. I, personally, have no objection to reading--and writing--Scottish set romance novels and putting my hero in a kilt! I don't think our friends across the pond have objections to their fine kilted men either--and they do seem to admire our cowboys--YEE HAH! And OCH! AYE! I have included the links for your perusal. Please, enjoy!
All My Best,
Elizabeth Holcombe
