Dear Readers,

My latest book THE LAST HIGHLANDER is complete and currently out in the publishing ether. I'll keep you updated!

I have been working on two new projects. ALL SHOOK UP is my first step in writing a romance set in the present day. Quite simply put ASU is my very loose interpretation of Pride and Prejudice set in the last place you would find a Mr. Darcy--Las Vegas! As he finds love with an unlikely American Miss Bennett and discovers that what happens in Vegas doesn't have to stay in Vegas.

My second project takes me back to my first love, historical romance with a Scottish twist. The title may give it all away. THE COWBOY WORE A KILT is set in the Wyoming Territory of 1875. The oddest couple you can imagine learn that love fuels the intense will to preserve the American dream in the face of enormous adversity.

Thanks for stopping by! Pop in from time to time for more updates!

In 1822, Scotland is the center of Europe's scientific and cultural enlightenment. Edinburgh is awash in "tartan pride" preparing for the arrival of King George IV. At the same time the last of the Highland clans are being cleared from the land in favor of large-scale sheep grazing. As a result, Scotland has no true sense of national identity in this new age and is in danger of becoming a weak link in the strength of the British Empire. BLANE ROSS, a respected yet troubled member of Edinburgh's vibrant academic community, and JOYCELINE, a fierce and fearful isolated Highland hold-out, will find themselves as the catalyst which joins Scotland's two cultures into a cohesive national identity. Their journey to unity and understanding will take them to places neither of them ever dared go before.
